A few items we picked up at the auction Saturday night. Will add more later.

Tucumcari, N.M. Souvenir Bathtub
Vintage opalescent glass souvenir bathtub from "Round Up / Tucumcari, N.M.". Approx. 2-3/8 x 5-3/8 x 2-1/4 inches in size. 1920's era. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.

Denver, Colo. Souvenir Coal Bucket
Vintage opalescent glass coal scuttle or bucket souvenir from "Souvenir of Denver, Colo.". Also has wire bail handle. 1920's era. Approx 4 inches in length and 3-1/2 in. high. Nice condition, no chips or cracks.

Opalex Egg Cup, France, Opalescent Glass
Vintage Opalex, opalescent glass chicken egg with black painted eyes and yellow beak. Has a little paint missing on the beak. Opalex, Made in France molded into the bottom of the cup. Nice addition to your egg cup collection. Nice condition, no chips or cracks. Price includes USA shipping.

Porcelain egg cup with lady's face on the front. Approx. 2-3/4 inches tall. Unmarked. Nice addition to your egg cup collection.

Deco Milk Glass Spice Jar / Bottle
Vintage milk glass condiment jar or spice jar. The jar is 4 1/4 inches tall and 1 3/4 inches square. Three sides of the jar have raised vertical panels in an art deco style. The front has a blank space for a label. The screw top is red has some wear to the paint. Not marked but probably made by Griffith's. 1930' - 50's era.

Vintage pair of Indian chief and squaw porcelain salt & pepper shakers. They are approx. 3 inches tall, marked Japan. No chips or cracks, little paint loss. Nice addition to your salt and pepper collection.

Novelty sunny side up eggs salt and pepper shaker set. The yokes are the shakers. About 4 x 5-3/4 inches, Made in Hong Kong. 1970's era. Nice addition to your salt and pepper collection.

Vintage hard molded plastic Venus De Milo set of salt & pepper shakers with original cork stoppers. 1950's era. Approx. 4 in. tall. Overall in very good condition. Nice addition to your salt and pepper collection.

Wooden Outhouse Salt and Pepper
Set of wooden "MA" and "PA" outhouse salt and pepper shakers. They measure 2" tall x 1 5/8" wide. Nice addition to your salt and pepper collection.

I'd think vintage salt and pepper shakers would be a fun thing to collect. Looks like there is such a variety and they are small enough that they could be displayed easily without taking up much space. Do people still use some of the older ones, or do they stay away from using due to age?

Hi, check this out Collecting Salt & Peppers. I think most people just collect them, maybe use certain ones around say holidays etc.
