Flea Market, Yard Sales

Flea Market, Yard Sales

Postby countryjoe on Sat Oct 24, 2009 1:51 pm

Well weather was okay for half the day yesterday for the flea market, started to get windy and sorta dark looking a little before noon. Was a sorta slow type day, a bunch of dealers but customer base was light. Bought and sold stuff and made a few bucks profit in the end. Was supposed to be raining today so wasn't many yard sales in the paper, but it stopped rainy in the middle of the night. Hit a few yard sales not much to buy.

Hi Joe: Have not heard from you for awhile. How are you doing and how is Jan. I hope everyone is in good health and thriving. Flea markets and yard sales are not good here. Mostly clothes, baby stuff and new items. I do go to shops once in a while but they are not good either. I miss the auctions in NJ and all the places you can visit and see good items. I even went to a good outside show a couple of weeks ago, it was good but not many buyers. A lot of good items to buy and the prices are still where I think they should be for the stuff being sold. I check out a lot of auctions on the internet and shops. Some of the auctions have very high end things so I cannot really see me checking them out but once in a while I find one that has some things that I like. I will probably be in NJ for Christmas and New Years if everything goes ok. So maybe I will see you on New Years day. Say hello to everyone for me and hope to see you in January. Marge

All is good, still getting some markets in but cold will be here soon. Then will stick to the internet and my auctions for the winter.
Talk to you down the line.
