Always buying vintage safety razors and accumulations of vintage postcards. Plus other collectibles.
Also buying marked gold filled scrap, broken jewelry etc.

Why is it called a safety razor?

When I think of vintage razors I think of Clint Eastwood in "High Plains Drifter" where he gets a shave at the town's barber shop.

Hi,New here.I just hit a mother load today, somewhere in south jersey{my first time there}. I found a Gem Junior Bar, ny usa u.s. pat. aug.28 1900 1901.Black wooden handle rounded end.No case just the instrument. I was investigating it and came upon your site.I am in Cherry Hill and have a wee little shop in Haddonfield.I also got a Limoges French shaving mug with the name James Osborne.I guess the razor was his.All for $2......
